Hello, my name is Alexxis. I am a Certified Hatha Yoga instructor with a specialty in Yoga with scoliosis & spinal fusion. I became a yoga instructor because I gained so much inner strength through my personal practice, and wanted to give that same sense of relief to others. I’ve always wanted to heal people — yoga allows me to hold space for those who desire deeper connection with self. My dedication for preserving the practice stems from a core belief that every person deserves to love themselves unconditionally, and feel confident within their body. I’m passionate about supporting others during the difficult moments of life. With each practice, I guide the practitioner while offering them accessible tools to practice independently. Outside of yoga, I’m a lover of spiritual and metaphysical realms, psychology, nature, and taking naps 🙂

Adrian’s first contact with Yoga was on a profound backpacking trip while living in a self sustainable community in southern Italy. He was not looking for it, but came up at the right time and showed him a path of self study. Upon returning to California, Adrian continued practicing and completed his 200hr teacher training in 2019. He then began sharing Yoga through teaching Vinyasa in the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, and Mexico. Yoga as a holistic life practice has gifted him heightened body awareness and balance that transfers over into his other passions such as high lining and dancing. Experiencing how the path of Yoga supports his own body, mind & soul is what inspires Adrian to share this practice with his communities.

I completed my 200-Hour Vinyasa Flow training with Yoga to the People in San Francisco and currently working toward my 500 hour advanced training with Yoga to the People in New York City. I will always be a student of the practice. I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.

I seek to help others thrive to live by nurturing your body, mind and soul with yoga. In 2004, Maria found her mat on a cold winter night in the mountains of Whistler British Columbia in a 26+2 studio and was instantly hooked. After 10 yrs, 5 cities and 2 countries, Maria realized how important it was to have balance in her life. It was that realization that brought her straight back to her mat, this time, she explored vinyasa yoga. In 2016, Maria plunged into teacher training to become RYT200 with CorePower Yoga. With a strong personal practice and svadhyaya, Maria found Jason Crandell in San Francisco and completed his 300hr training at Love Story Yoga in 2019. In 2020, as a forever student, Maria became a certified Yoga Tune Up® Instructor, a style of conscious corrective exercise that strikes a balance between the worlds of yoga, fitness, and myofascial self-care. Today, Maria continue to spark excitement within herself to spread and share my yoga experience through physical and mental movement focusing her asana teachings on strength, function, and range of motion. Off the mat, Maria can be found anywhere eating while in search of adventure, whether it be hiking through the hills of Walnut Creek, scrambling up a mountain in the Sierra Nevada, camping, or adventure pillion riding on the back of her husband’s motorbike. Maria’s 20 minute vinyasa classes are that quick pick me up for when you don’t have one hour, but desire heart pumping goal based movement in between WFH zoom calls.
